Spring 2026 Pre-Commencement Celebrations 

Each Equity Pre-Commencement Celebration at Antelope Valley College recognizes, affirms, and honors the distinct experiences, cultures, identities, and academic achievements of our diverse student communities, including Latine, Black, Veteran, and LGBTQ+ (Lavender) graduates. These celebrations provide a meaningful space to uplift student success, acknowledge resilience, and celebrate the culmination of each graduate’s academic journey. 

While each celebration is centered around a specific community, all Equity Pre-Commencement Celebrations are inclusive and open to any Antelope Valley College student who has applied for graduation and meets the eligibility requirements. These events are designed to foster a sense of belonging, pride, and recognition across our campus community. 

Please note that registration is open until April 27, 2026, at 5:00 PM. To ensure adequate planning and preparation of materials including stoles, certificates, and refreshments, late registrations cannot be accommodated.
